An Education Consultant with over 6 years of experience on advisory and mentorship in the education sector. She is currently putting her passion for education to work at Dese Advisory, where she focuses on advising and supporting career aspirants through their educational journey. Ekinadese holds a degree in Political Science, Economics, International Relations, African and American Studies from Stanford University, USA.

Idakwo Shuaibu - Board Member

An Economist and Certified Trade Finance/Treasury Specialist (London institute of Banking and Finance) with over 14 years’ experience spanning across the Banking, Energy and Telecommunications industries. Subject expert in Trade Finance practice and consultancy, letters of credit executions, Standby LC’s and Guarantees, settlements and remittances and cross border trade transactions, including treasury management, and corporate finance.

Tope Imasekha - Board Member

Corporate Finance and Development Economics Expert, Founder – Women Impacting Nigeria (WIN)

Tope Imasekha is a Corporate Finance and Development Economics Specialist. She is a highly motivated and competent corporate finance and investment professional with over 12 years’ experience in transaction advisory, transaction/deal structuring, corporate finance, M &A advisory, project finance, valuation, and due diligence. She is a specialist in corporate finance with a background in Economics and Accounting. She has managed various energy transactions in excess of US$4b in Nigeria and other Sub-Saharan Africa countries.

Ejike Egbuagu - CEO/Co-Founder

A lawyer turned banker with over 10 years’ experience in complex deal structuring and risk-management across multiple sectors including Oil and Gas, Logistics and International Trade. Prior to co-founding Moneda, Ejike worked with Access Bank Plc, International Air Transport Association and Riverlake Group. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School (PLD), Geneva Business School (MBA); Kent Law School, U.K (Law and Business) He is a patron of the African Arts and believer in the African Project.   

Olajumoke Adekanmi – Chief Risk Officer

Olajumoke Adekanmi brings a wealth of experience in excess of 15 years in Banking, leading the Specialized Risk Management Team and the Projects team where she was responsible for the Oil, Gas and Maritime assets and preparation of the Recovery and Resolution Plan and the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process. At Moneda she is responsible for the entire risk management process, strategy and architecture of Moneda and has a degree in Banking and Finance from Lagos State University

Princewill Kalu – Director of Resources and Interim COO

Princewill is a multi-sectoral Business and Management Partner with experiences in Energy, Healthcare, Financial Service, Agribusiness and Arts/Culture, where he generally translates business vision into policies and programs to improve performance, growth and employee experience. He is a devotee to the people, culture and process within an organization. He is an alumnus of Heriot Watt University, Scotland (MBA) and Kwame Nkrumah University, Ghana (Management with Computing).

Peter Aloga – Group Financial Controller

From banking, through asset management to real estate, Energy and Consulting, Peter has spent over 12 years providing world class solutions in financial reporting and management accounting. A trusted professional, chartered accountant and senior fellow of the institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). University of Lagos (MSC Accounting)

Eyimofe Olagbaju, Director of Trading and Operations

Mofe has inserted an indelible mark in the oil, gas and mining industries having executed a myriad of projects in his capacity as Senior Trader, Director of Operations and Head of Trading at Linetrale Oil Supply & Trading Limited (now Linetrale Energy Trading Ltd), Tycon Minerals Limited and Optima Energy Resources Limited respectively. He still forges forward and now leads the trading operations at Moneda. Mofe holds a B.A.(Hons) in Business Management from Kingston University and holds a CITAC UK certification in Energy Trading. 

Chinedu Ajaegbu – Group Head, Structured Finance

After a successful career in corporate finance and having executed transactions in excess of NGN2 billion centered around fund raising, mergers and acquisitions, Chinedu joined Moneda to lead the Structured Finance team of the group. Within the two years that he has spent in Moneda Invest, he has structured deals worth up to US$10 million in the energy sector and has disbursed over US$5 million in funding to oil and gas contractors within the sector.

Nkechukwuaga Amangbo - Head, Treasury

She has over 10 years in Banking, with experience spanning across Customer Service, Correspondent Banking and Treasury Operations, giving her a broad range of perspectives and contributes to her ability to effectively deliver in record time. At Moneda, she supervises all aspects of our treasury operations including management of long-term and short-term funds, and money market investments.She has a degree in Economics and Development Studies and a certificate from the International Finance Corporation.

Akintunde Marinho – Director, Marketing and Communication

Akintunde has garnered a combined 11 years of experience in diversified industries including but not confined to finance, marketing, and technology. Leading the marketing and communication team at Moneda, he has perfectly crafted and packaged the story of Moneda and her non-profit sister, 1952Africa, for the world to see and appreciate the impact on the African continent. Akintunde is passionate about the development of the youth and can be found giving talks to millennials and staff in several organizations on robust business strategy, content monetization, and digital content.
